The Founder’s Shrine stands as the final resting place of Ruben E. Ecleo, Sr., the late founder of the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association, Inc. (PBMA) and the local hero of the province. Constructed with “free labor” or pahina, the shrine was built through the collective effort of the PBMA members, embodying the true spirit of bayanihan.

More than just a mausoleum, the shrine is a testament to the admiration and respect that the people hold for him. Located in Brgy. Aurelio, just a 5-minute ride from the port of San Jose, it offers a peaceful environment reflecting heritage, and provides visitors with breathtaking panoramic views, making it an ideal spot for sunset watching.
