Rising 734 meters between Libjo and Tubajon, Mt. Palhi—locally called “Babaeng Bukid” for its lady-like silhouette—is a towering symbol of Dinagat’s wild beauty and rich biodiversity. The trek starts at Sitio Maytubig, leading adventurers through ultramafic landscapes, dense forests teeming with unique flora and fauna like pitcher plants, and enchanting bonsai trees near the summit.
At the top, hikers are rewarded with panoramic views of nearby islands, including Homonhon, Siargao, and even the southern tip of Leyte. A mountain like no other, indeed!
