SYNOPSIS:

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting the Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan. Easterlies are affecting the rest of Luzon.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION:

Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

FORECAST WIND AND COASTAL WATER CONDITION:

Light to moderate winds coming from the east to southeast will prevail, with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 1.5 meters).

WEATHER OUTLOOK:
Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will experience hot weather or partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated and short-lived rain showers and/or thunderstorms that may affect two or more barangays, especially in the afternoon or evening due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Lightning, flash floods, and landslides are possible if thunderstorms occur in your area.

WIND AND SEA CONDITIONS:

Light to moderate winds coming from the east to southeast will dominate the region, while coastal waters will have slight to moderate waves (0.6 to 1.5 meters).

RECOMMENDATIONS AND ADVISORY:

There is a high chance of hot weather conditions across the Caraga region. The public is advised to prepare for extreme heat due to a high heat index, especially from noon until late afternoon. However, isolated, short, and passing rain showers and/or thunderstorms may still occur, potentially affecting two or more barangays. Residents are advised to prepare for possible lightning, flooding, and landslides if thunderstorms occur in your locality.
