PBMA ShrinePBMA Shrine (San Jose) - A holy place for all Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association (PBMA) members. This is where the body of the founder, Ruben E. Ecleo, Sr. was laid to rest. The shrine serves as the main destination of local and foreign tourists of the municipality. Established in 1987, this unique and historical landmark boasts of 7 man-made drinking dams formed into different shapes such as e.g. Guitar Stage, Sala, and Garage. In the vicinity we can marvel at the Guitar Healing Pool, Garden Stairs, a Comet House and a Mini Forest that maintains the coolness of the surrounding view of the mountains and islands.

I'm proud to be Dinagatnon, since I saw your website I was excited to see my home town but unfortunately the Dinagat town proper seems like has been left out, not even one picture of municipality of Dinagat has been featured nothing. But I'm hoping that someday somehow you will put the picture of my church which is a catholic church and in the front of it is the municipal hall. I hope the government will give priorities and attention to all my Lumad Dinagatnon's needs. Especially to those children and older people who are longing for help, and that there is hope inspite of poverty and hardship that they encounter in life. We must lend a hand, show them that they're not alone and that there is hope.

From a concerned lumad na Dinagatnon,

i also saw and witness the beauty and peacefulness of the island when i first visited the said place.. since my purpose of going to that island is to research, then first question come up in my mind was that, FROM WHAT PLACE DOES THE PROVINCE GOT THEIR NAME? then as i live and observe, i have learned that DINAGAT province got their name from the oldest municipality of the island..

then follow up question, WHY SUCH DINAGAT MUNICIPALITY SEEMS TO BE LEFT/OUTDATED IN THE HISTORY OF THE PROVINCE? it seems that the place is already vanished in the island.. it is not advertised. where in fact, the province should give their attention also to that place.

own observation, SAN JOSE is the focus of the government. why such? i want to visit the island next time.. hoping that the government of that place will give such attention to the Dinagat municipality...
